GIGABIT WESTCHESTER

Harrison Edwards was tasked in late 2016 with launching the biggest infrastructure announcement to hit Westchester County, New York in a generation. Gigabit Westchester is a public-private smart growth initiative to bring gigabit-speed broadband to every premises in Westchester's four major cities: Mt. Vernon, New Rochelle, White Plains, and Yonkers.

The announcement made national headlines and created a seismic shift in the New York marketplace in how the telecommunications industry delivers service. As the project forges ahead, Harrison Edwards leverages its contacts to bring some of the nation's top minds aboard from IBM Smarter Cities, the Federal Reserve Bank, and the Brookings Institution.
